So Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon are officially a couple. At least in my eyes. They took the kids trick-or-treating. And in my book that says “couple.” You don’t play around with a holiday like Halloween. Halloween is sacrosanct. Kids rule the night. And Ava, as a witch, and Deacon, as a superhero, watched as Jake, the Gorilla, tagged along with mommy during their candy grabbing excursion round the block.

When kids are involved you don’t play with dating… unless of course you’re Britney Spears. But Reese is no Britney. Reese is mother of the year. Heck, mother of the century. She powerwalked with that babystroller when Ava was two. She held Deacon, a cup of Starbuck’s AND Ava’s hand when Ava was five. And now that Ava is eight, Reese is introducing Jake into the mix. And Reese is all smiles while she’s doing it. Just look at the picture. Have you ever seen a happier couple?
