Sylvia Browne May Have Killed Montel Williams’ Talk Show

Sylvia Browne May Have Killed Montel Williams’ Talk Show

It’s a really tough call as the “Montel Williams Show” comes to an end after 17 years.

Could it be that Montel’s health problems (he suffers from MS) are taking their toll on his ability to lead his show successfully any longer or that Sylvia Browne’s smoke-and-mirror deceptions and oh-so-not-accurate predictions (for instance that Jennifer Lopez would never get pregnant) that drove the show into the ground?

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Sylvia isn’t quite the crack psychic to the stars (or anyone else, for that matter) that she professes to be.

Check out her website and you’ll find that a phone consultation costs $750 for 20 to 30 minutes. That’s a lot of enchiladas for what may or may not be accurate insight.

It just goes to show what a lot of TV hype will accomplish while preying on an innocent public, generating a huge financial windfall in the process.

In the meantime, J.Lo is very happily pregnant, dealing with the challenge of giving birth in the not-too-distant future.

Due to be replaced with a younger version of himself, stations that carry Montel’s program currently will be able to show re-runs of his shows under the umbrella of “Best of Montel” until the end of time.

I am so sorry to learn that Montel will no longer be doing his show. He’s one very nice man who has done a lot of good for so many people. He has shown so much courage and strength fighting his MS, I really admire him so much. I hope he keeps us in the loop somehow, guesting here or there. God Bless you Montel, and may your angels lift you to make this lifes journey a little easier and less painful. You are one classy man.
