Anna Nicole Was Denied the Postmortem Respect Heath Ledger Is Getting

Anna Nicole Was Denied the Postmortem Respect Heath Ledger Is GettingIn an interesting twist of media morality, Hollywood film industry head honchos have convinced the TV gossip show, Entertainment Tonight, not to let fly over the airwaves a video showing Heath Ledger having a good time for himself at a party where drugs were flagrantly being used.

ET reportedly paid $200,000 for the vid.

Even a host of celebs - Sarah Jessica Parker and Natalie Portman among them - phoned in an appeal to the show to nix the scoop from getting airtime.

Anna Nicole Was Denied the Postmortem Respect Heath Ledger Is GettingHow ironic that when Anna Nicole Smith tragically died of a drug overdose in a Florida hotel on February 8 of last year, Hollywood big dogs had no qualms about the drug video Howard K. Stern had taken of her while she was pregnant receiving repeated worldwide attention.

What kind of double standard is that? Especially considering that Anna’s beloved son, Daniel, had just as tragically died after using drugs in her hospital room shortly after she had given birth to her daughter, Dannie-Lynn. The same kind of postmortem respect should have been shown to her own family, friends and fans.

Shame on you, Hollywood, for thinking it was okay to turn poor Anna Nicole into a “Say NO to Drugs” cartoon after her death…but Heath Ledger’s memory deserves better treatment?

From what I’ve read, Heath was just as addicted, just as much a party hound, just as stupid as Anna was when it came to using drugs. He should, therefore, be put to the same public scrutiny and stand as yet-another poster child against Hollywood drug abuse as she was after such an untimely and unnecessary death.

It’s only fair, after all.

Sorry but the only thing Anna was good at was being a whore.
    She had no talent whatsoever.
