Wow, what a shock to find out that semi-hot Cynthia Nixon from Sex in the City is in a committed lesbian relationship with a not-at-all hot looking woman named Christine Marinoni.

Cynthia recently told OK Magazine:

“I’m in a fantastic relationship. It’s been about four years. I’m in love with [Christine] because she’s her. If she were a man, would I be in love with her? I don’t know. We shop and cook and raise children - we both pitch in.“

Obviously looks don’t count in that relationship, considering that Cynthia is downright gorgeous and Christine resembles a cousin twice removed on my mother’s side who lives in an institution and has yet to learn how to answer the phone properly, let alone tie her own shoe laces.

I had heard quite some time ago that Cynthia was a lesbian and expected her to be with a Portia de Rossi-type of woman as her lover: Slim, svelte and utterly breath-taking.

So much for preconceived ideas, huh!

As long as Cyn’s happy, nothing else matters.
